Update March 22

Hello dear friends!

A lot has happened in the last few weeks: On March 2nd, the day we arrived in Germany, we received the news that Joy's father had died unexpectedly. So we flew back to Kenya earlier than planned and while we were in Germany we were very busy planning the funeral as everything is a bit different than in Germany. Joy's father's funeral lasted nine hours and was attended by several thousand people. In all of this we are grateful that we were able to be with Joy's family that day and also that we visited Joy's parents again in February and of course spent time with Joy's father at the time. Other things, such as the planning for the Center of Hope, have been running on the side in recent weeks.

We have almost half of the 8000 Euros together - thank you very much!

What is still running is our fasting donation campaign. Here is the most important thing again in brief: One donor has agreed to match all individual donations up to a total of 8000 Euros. Our idea is: If you fast this year, you can do double good with it and donate the money you save from fasting to Tumaini Ministries. Our goal is to reach 8000 Euros by Easter. We know that many of you are participating, that's really mega! Of course you can also donate without fasting. So far, 3560 Euros have already come together. Thanks a lot for this!

 Outlook:

The upper school in Kenya is currently having its final exams. We are therefore pleased to be able to welcome the new crop of Foxfires in mid-April. So far there have already been a two-digit number of registrations and until it starts, this number will continue to increase.

 Thanks:

Finally, as always, a heartfelt thank you to all who support us practically, through prayer or financially. It is only thanks to you that our work in Kenya is possible.

If you would like to support us or have any questions or suggestions about our work, please do not hesitate to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.

 Yours truly

Marco and Joy
