Update July 19 — Tumaini Ministries

Hello dear friends!

It's been more than a month now since we have been in Germany and we have very important news!

Looking back:
During our last weeks in Kenya we had found an ideal piece of land for our projects. It lies in a catchment area of Nairobi, is 12000 m² and costs 53000 Euros. We are very grateful because we had been looking a very long time for something suitable, the financing however is a real step of faith. We had been saving up for this, but the majority of the sum is still to be financed and we have six months to do this. This is just the beginning because we would like to build a school, an orphanage and a training center on the plot, which will also cost money.

In order to finance this we are developing a campaign that will begin in the next weeks. We are a bit nervous but are looking forward. The realization of this project has always been our dream and we believe that God has placed this on our hearts. In order to fulfill this project we must go step by step. Acquiring the land is an important first step.

In the last weeks we were able to present our project in several churches and work on the fundraising campaign, but we also spent time with family and friends of course.

Looking forward:
We will be in Germany until end of August and will be using this time to present our project and network. We will also be launching the fundraising campaign. Stay tuned! We will keep you updated on future developments.
