Update December 22

Hello dear friends!

In a few days it will be Christmas. When Mary was heavily pregnant on her way to Bethlehem over 2000 years ago, she was probably joyful on the one hand because of the impending birth. On the other hand, I'm sure she was also a little worried: Will everything go well? Will they find a room in an inn? Today we know that even though they didn't find a room, everything turned out all right because God was always in control. For us it is somehow similar: next year we will start the construction of our "Center of Hope". For us, this is also something like the birth of something that we have now been "carrying around" for a long time, just like Mary carried the baby in her womb. And similar to Mary, we are totally happy, but there also remains a certain uncertainty whether everything will be "good". How good to know that with us, too, God has everything in hand.
Therefore, it is very encouraging for us to be able to tell you that we have collected the 200 x 30 Euros we had planned for the steel tower. Thank you all very much for your support. This brings us a good deal closer to the finances needed to start construction in April of next year.
Otherwise, there are weeks behind us that were filled with a lot of work, but also many encounters with great people. It is also thanks to these encounters, among other things, that our aid package campaign at Christmas is so well received. Once again a reminder: You can donate a food package for disadvantaged families with children in Kenya for 15 Euros. Please make a note of it in the reason for payment so that we can allocate the donation. In the meantime, more than 80 aid packages have already been donated. We will distribute them in Kenya at the beginning of February. You can still participate in the campaign until Christmas. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

In the new year we will again distribute aid packages to families.

Outlook:
In January we will be on the road again to present our work. Among them are the following visits to churches: 08. 01. Zealchurch in Leipzig, 22. 01. Christusgemeinde in Gau Algesheim. If you live somewhere nearby, feel very welcome to come by.

Thank you:
We would also like to end the last newsletter of the year by giving thanks from the bottom of our hearts to all those who support us through prayer, finances or even practically. Only through you our work is possible, thank you very much! Finally, we wish you all a blessed Christmas and a happy new year!

Yours truly

Marco and Joy
