Newsletter December 24

Hello dear friends! 

For many, the Christmas season is a time to pause and look back on the year. When we do this, we are filled with deep gratitude: 2024 was without question one of the most intense years for us, but also one of the most beautiful: it was our first full year as a family of three, in which we were able to watch our daughter grow up. But our center of hope was also “born”. The well, the fence, the trees and, of course, above all the house in which we now live, have made part of our vision visible. Many thanks to all of you who have accompanied and supported us throughout this year! 

As you can see from the picture, we've been traveling a lot again in the last few weeks to meet friends, partners and supporters. There was even some snow in the Fichtelgebirge, although Luana wasn't as enthusiastic about it as we were.
 
Aid packages - still possible as a Christmas present!
We would like to take this opportunity to once again draw your attention to our aid package campaign: As the majority of school fees are due at the beginning of the year, this time is particularly challenging financially for poorer families. We would therefore like to support needy families with food aid packages during this time. If you would like to support this campaign, you can donate an aid package for 15 euros, which a family can live on for two weeks. Please write “Relief packages” as the intended purpose so that we can allocate your donation. This year, you can once again donate one or more aid packages as a perfect gift for someone who already has everything. For your donation, you will receive a certificate from us with the name of the person receiving the gift, which you can then “give” to them. Please send us an e-mail by Sunday so that we can send you the corresponding certificate.
After that we are looking forward to a few quiet days before we fly back to Kenya on January 7th.
