Newsletter January 25

Hello dear friends! 

At the beginning of this newsletter, we would like to wish you a happy and blessed new year.
We started the year well and have now arrived back in Kenya. Our house is still standing and our garden and the trees we planted in October have developed well. Of course we are very happy about that.
We have already held initial talks about taking in orphans. However, as we feared, the authorities are not making things so easy for various reasons. You are welcome to pray for us here - thank you very much!
We would also like to thank everyone who donated food packages. In total, we received donations for more than 130 food parcels. We are really thrilled. This week, we distributed the first 50 aid packages to needy families in Nairobi. The people were really very grateful. One woman, for example, told us:“The school fees for my three children are so expensive that I didn't know how I was going to buy anything else to eat. Your aid packages have come at just the right time. Thank you very much”

This week we distributed the first 50 food packages.

Such moving moments are only possible thanks to you and your support. So once again, a big thank you from us!
 
Outlook:
In the coming weeks, we will be distributing more aid packages and also trying to make progress with regard to taking in orphans. We are also thinking about the further development of our Centre of Hope and the further development of our Kenyan organization. You are welcome to pray for us here too.
