Newsletter February 25

Hello dear friends!

In February, we welcomed numerous guests to our still relatively new home. Various friends and supporters came to see the developments and our work. There was also someone here who is doing voluntary service in a national park in Kenya. We were able to host his reflection week, which always takes place halfway through the year. Last week, we also welcomed the head of mission of our umbrella organization “Foursquare Germany”. We were also very encouraged and pleased by this visit.

The head of mission of our umbrella organization visits us and gets an idea of our work.

We also distributed more food parcels to families in need. At the risk of repeating ourselves, we would like to point out once again how grateful the people were this time.
In addition, we have had several meetings and discussions in recent weeks about the next steps regarding our “Center of Hope” and, above all, the possible admission of orphans. This is still proving difficult. At the end of last year, there was a change in the law in this regard. As this is still so new, the employees of the authorities themselves do not yet know how the new law is to be implemented and what exactly this means for us. As soon as we know more, we will keep you fully informed. In the meantime, please feel free to pray for us and for God to guide us in our next steps - thank you very much!

Outlook:
In the coming weeks, we will be distributing the last aid packages and holding further talks about taking in orphans. It is a matter close to our hearts to have clarity here as soon as possible.

Thank you:
Many thanks to everyone who regularly prays for us or supports our work through donations or in practical ways. Our work in Kenya is only possible because of you.
Would you also like to support us and our work or do you have any questions, suggestions or similar? Please get in touch with us. We look forward to hearing from you!

Yours truly

Marco, Joy and Luana
