Update December 19
Hello dear friends,
We are back in Kenya since last Tuesday and behind us lies a busy but very nice time spent in Germany. We were especially encouraged by our visit in Hamburg. There we went to see an architectural office that will plan our “Centre of Hope” for us, which is very exciting. At the moment we are still gathering information about Kenyan building rights, and then we can start!
Finances have also evolved very positively. We are convinced that with your help we will be able to finance the piece of land we are planning to buy.
A big step in this direction has been the completion of an information folder concerning the “Centre of Hope”. We have begun to send this off to companies in order to win more sponsors for our heart's project. If you would like to receive this information folder, and pass it on to the right person in your company for example, let us know.
We are also glad that the new name of our association “Tumaini Ministries” has finally been confirmed by the local authorities. It has been clear for a long time that this change would be ok, but now it is official.
Looking forward
We are busy preparing for the new school year. In January we will have the privilege of welcoming 12 new Foxfires students and we look very much forward to this.
You can find more information on our work and vision on our website. You can also view a TV program done on our project via this link:https://www.swrfernsehen.de/landesschau-rp/Deutsch-afrikanisches-Paar-auf-Heimatbesuch-Hilfe-fuer-Kinder-in-Kenia,av-o1177353-100.html
Thank you
At this point we would like to thank all who support us financially, practically or through prayer. Without you all our work would not be possible, we feel very encouraged to have your support.
If you would like to support us or if you have any questions or comments, we would love to hear from you!
Wishing you all a meaningful and blessed Christmas time and a happy new year!
Marco and Joy
