Update October 20 — Tumaini Ministries

Hello dear friends!

We have exciting weeks behind us. The most impressive was when we were allowed to help distributing food. We were able to help on the spot, but also to get a precise picture of the situation: The people present were old people or those who are ill with HIV, tuberculosis or similar complications . To ensure that only needy people receive the food packages, we work together with local social workers who keep lists. Before the distribution of the packages we were able to talk to and with the people. They were very grateful and moved and went home with new food, but also with new hope and a smile. Many of you have donated for this and thus made this distribution action and the smiles of the people possible - thank you very much!

Encouraged by this experience, we have decided to launch a special Christmas promotion together with our partners from AE. Here, the food package for the family is extended by a surprise package for children. It includes some sweets and toys, school supplies and shoes. By working with local social workers, every child can get shoes in the right size. For some children it will be the first pair of shoes of their life. If you want to support this action, you are welcome to do so. Such a package - i.e. food for the family and a gift box with shoes and school supplies for children - costs 25 Euros. Please write "Hope Project" in the reason for payment so that we can allocate the donation. Many thanks!

Center of Hope:

In the last few days we had several meetings to work with a construction company that implements projects like our Hope Project here in Kenya. At the same time, we are currently working on a nine information folder, which no longer focuses on the property but on the orphanage, which will be our next big project.

We have also transferred the money for the first third of the property. In a few days the second third will follow. We do not have all the money we need yet, but there is not much missing. Meanwhile we have 50200 Euro, so only 2800 Euro are missing. Thank you very much for your generosity that made this possible. We are convinced that together with you we can do the rest!
