Update February 20
Hello dear friends!
Time flies—February, which has been another eventful month, lies already behind us! We have begun the new school year and are getting to know the new Foxfire students. In our first teaching unit, we had our students complete the proficiency test in order to help them discover what professional orientation may concern them. It is moving to see that all these young people have big dreams and it is a privilege to be able to accompany and encourage them to follow and hold on to these dreams.
It is also encouraging to see that all our graduate students are now studying in a domain that suits them and that they enjoy. We hope and believe that through our work, we will be able to contribute to helping this year’s students find the right path for their future.
Centre of hope:
We are having a lively and constructive exchange with the architectural office that is elaborating the building plans for us on a voluntary basis. A first version should be ready in May, we are very excited and grateful for this!
Concerning the financing of the land, we have reached 33 500 Euros and are missing only 19 500. We are very glad about this ! We hope to reach our goal by end of March, thank you for your support !
Looking forward :
In the next weeks we will be focusing on the Foxfires teaching program. We will be going to Germany in
April, for three months this time, due to technical reasons concerning insurance. We are also busy planning for this trip. We are always looking for churches and organizations where we can present our project, so let us know if you would like to invite us, we would gladly accept your invitation!
Thanks :
At this point we would like to thank you all again for your prayers, financial or practical support. With you our work here in Kenya would not be possible. We feel so privileged and grateful for your help!
If you would like to support us or if you have any questions or comments, we would be happy to hear from you!
Marco and Joy
