Update November 23
Hello dear friends!
We can start this newsletter with very good news: our daughter Luana Maria was born on November 2. Mother and child are doing well and we are very grateful. We would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who prayed for us and the birth.
Campaign in November:
As reported in the October newsletter, we are collecting money for a fence to secure our property in this year's November campaign. With your help, we have already reached €6000 of the target of €8000 - i.e. 200 x 40 euros. Many thanks to everyone who has already contributed. We are convinced that with your help we will also be able to raise the missing 50 x 40 euros - i.e. 2000 euros. Thank you very much for your support.
Aid packages in December:
We are always particularly keen to help the less fortunate population in Kenya. That is why we will be collecting aid packages again in December, which we will then distribute in the new year. As the majority of school fees have to be paid at the beginning of the year, this time is particularly challenging financially. If you would like to support this campaign, you can donate an aid package for 15 euros, which a family can live on for two weeks. Please write "aid packages" as the intended purpose so that we can allocate your donation. Thank you very much!
Outlook:
We will be flying back to Kenya in mid-January. There we want to start building our Center of Hope as soon as possible. For this we still need the building permit and Marco a new work visa. Both have been applied for and we hope to get both soon, also to have planning security. You are welcome to pray for this - thank you very much.
Thank you:
Also today we don't want to miss the opportunity to thank everyone who supports us financially, prayerfully or practically. Our work in Kenya is only possible because of you! God bless you for it!
Finally, we wish you all a blessed and reflective pre-Christmas season!
Yours truly
Marco and Joy
