Update September 23

Hello dear friends!

First of all, thank you very much for the numerous congratulations we received after our last newsletter. We were very pleased. Mother and child are still doing well and we are slowly entering the exciting phase.
In the meantime, we have also moved into our own little apartment near our home community. We feel very comfortable and are really grateful.

Last week we moved into our own little apartment.

But also otherwise there is good news: Last week we received the news that the change in the statutes of our Kenyan organization was recognized. So we are now officially working as a non-profit organization in Kenya as well. So we are now a small step further.
This week Marco also uploaded all documents for the application of his new work visa on the corresponding site and applied for the visa. Now we have to wait for a feedback and hope that Marco will receive a new work permit.

Outlook:
Besides the work permit, our focus in the next weeks is to get the building permit. Also the financing of the first two construction phases is not finished yet, but more about that in the next newsletter.
Another focus is of course on Joy's pregnancy. We have many doctor's appointments right now and are still and always excited about this new life that is growing up. So please join us in praying that everything continues to go well - also and especially during the birth.

Thank you:
At this point, as always, many thanks to all those who support us through finances, prayer or even in a very practical way. Only through you our work in Kenya is possible!
If you have any questions or suggestions or would like to support our work, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours truly

Marco and Joy
