Update August 23

Hello dear friends!

We can start this newsletter with especially good news: Joy is pregnant again. We are very happy about that. It is especially remarkable because from a medical point of view it can be called a miracle. But we serve a mighty and good God. In order to ensure the best possible medical care for mother and child, we have decided to stay in Germany until probably January.

We are expecting a baby in November.

Accordingly, the last weeks were also filled with organizational tasks. From mid-September we have found a nice apartment near our home community. For this we are very grateful.

Outlook:
Considering the pregnancy, we don't travel quite as much as usual. But next weekend Marco will be in Berlin. Among other things, he will be there on September 3 at the Real.Life Church in Berlin. If you're in the area, feel free to stop by. It would be great to meet you there.
In Kenya we continue to wait for progress from the authorities. We can't report a breakthrough yet with the building permit as well as with the change of the statutes. But even when we are in Germany, we are in regular contact with the relevant people and authorities. We are confident that we will have cleared all the official hurdles by the end of the year, so that we can start construction in February as planned.

Thank you:
Finally, again today, many thanks to all who support us through finances, prayer or in a very practical way. Only through you our work in Kenya is possible!
If you have any questions or suggestions or would like to support our work, please feel free to contact us. We look forward to hearing from you.

Yours truly

Marco and Joy
