Update December 23

Hello dear friends!

At the beginning of the week, I read the Christmas story in the Bible. I wondered how Mary and Joseph felt after the birth of Jesus. On the one hand, they were certainly tired from the exertions of the last few weeks, but on the other hand they were also very grateful that everything went well at the birth and that they were now holding their child in their arms. We feel the same way these days. On the one hand, we are a little tired - not only because that's what a newborn baby brings with it, but also because, apart from being parents, there has been a lot to do in the last few weeks. After all, with Tumaini Ministries we have a second "baby" to look after. On the other hand, we are also deeply grateful that the birth went well, that we have found each other as a family and that we can now celebrate Christmas as a family of three. We are also very grateful that the campaign was successful again this year and that we have raised the 8,000 Euros for the fence. Thank you very much for your support.

With your help, we reached the goal of our November campaign again this year - thank you very much.

Aid packages in December:
We would like to take this opportunity to once again draw your attention to our aid package campaign: As the majority of school fees are due at the beginning of the year, this time is particularly challenging financially for less fortunate families. We would therefore like to support needy families with food aid packages during this time.  If you would like to support this campaign, you can donate an aid package for 15 Euros, which a family can live on for two weeks. Please write "aid packages" as the intended purpose so that we can allocate your donation. Thank you very much! The campaign runs until January 7, 2024.

Outlook:
We will fly back to Kenya in mid-January. There we want to start building our Center of Hope as soon as possible. We still need a building permit for this. Marco also needs a new work visa. We have applied for both. We hope to receive both soon, also in order to have planning security. You are welcome to pray for this - thank you very much.

Thank you:
As always, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has supported us again this year through finances, prayer or practical help. Our work is only possible because of you! God bless you for it!
Finally, we wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Yours truly

Marco and Joy
