Update June 23

Hello dear friends! 

Also in June there was a lot going on with us. We were able to distribute 50 more food packages in a poor district in Nairobi. Finally, we distributed the last 54 food packages to people in a village in western Kenya. Because our financial resources were limited, but the need of the people is so great, we decided, after consulting with the people concerned, to use the money to buy only maize flour, which is the main food of the people. Since we did without the other usual ingredients of our food packages such as oil, rice or sugar, we were able to buy more corn flour and then distribute it to more people. And the people were really very grateful! With this, we spent the last money we collected in our Christmas campaign for the relief packages. In total, thanks to your help, we were able to help more than 300 people and their families. Thank you very much for that.
In addition, we were able to take another step with our "Center of Hope". Since we received the land title deed last month, as reported, we were finally able to apply for the building permit last week.

The fact that we could finally apply for the building permit had of course to be celebrated with the manager of the construction company we had contracted.

Outlook:
In July, we will, among other things, complete our Christmas campaign in terms of accounting. In addition, Marco's work visa has to be extended soon, we also want to take care of this. Since this was anything but easy last time, you are welcome to join us in praying for this. Thank you very much!
At the end of July we plan to fly to Germany, which we are looking forward to. Accordingly, we will also prepare and plan our time there in the coming weeks.
