Update March 24

Hello dear friends!

We had a special appointment this week: We were able to present the work of Tumaini Ministries at the German Embassy here in Kenya. There we received a lot of encouragement as well as some helpful tips, which we will of course be happy to put into practice.

We with Mr. Friedemann from the German Embassy.

Unfortunately there is no news about Marco's work permit. But of course we'll stay tuned.
As far as the building permit is concerned, Joy has now signed the final building application and all the necessary documents have been submitted. According to the construction company, it is now a mere formality that we will receive the permit in the near future. We are also a few steps further as far as the construction is concerned: the individual offers have been evaluated and are largely within the cost estimates. There are still some renegotiations to be made on individual points, but this should also be completed soon so that construction can begin promptly. We are really looking forward to this and will of course keep you up to date.

Outlook:
In the coming weeks, the focus will be on obtaining the building permit and preparing the construction so that we can start as soon as the permit is granted. Of course, we will also continue our efforts to obtain Marco's work permit. What's more, it's the April vacations here in Kenya. This means that the children are not at school and don't get any food. This is often a challenge for poorer families. We would therefore like to distribute the remaining food parcels in April so that we can provide appropriate support.

Thank you:
As always, we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supports us through prayer, financially or practically. It is only through you that our work here in Kenya is possible.
If you would also like to support our work or have any questions or suggestions, please get in touch.
We wish you all a happy and blessed Easter!

Yours truly

Marco and Joy
