Newsletter September 24
Hello dear friends!
This is the last newsletter we are writing from our “old home”. We do so with a bit of melancholy, as our little house here and the whole surrounding area have really become our home over the last seven years. Nevertheless, the joy that we will soon be able to move into our new house clearly prevails.
The exact date of the move has not yet been set, but it looks very likely that we will be able to move in the first week of October. So we have some very exciting days ahead of us.
Outlook:
After the move, things will continue to be exciting, as a team from our German home church will be visiting us in mid-October. We are really looking forward to this. We want to plant trees together, especially along the fence that surrounds our property. In addition to various fruit trees such as mango, avocado and orange, we also want to plant special trees to break the wind a little, which blows quite constantly in our new residential area. Several of our neighbors have also planted these types of trees and have had good experiences with them. As the length of the fence is just over 500 meters, more than 150 trees are needed in total. If you would like to support this project financially, you are welcome to do so. A tree seedling costs around 5 Euros. So even a small donation can make a big difference.
Thank you:
We would also like to end this newsletter by thanking all of you who regularly pray for us or support our work through donations or in practical ways. It is only through you that our work here in Kenya is possible.
Would you also like to support us and our work or do you have any questions, suggestions or similar? Please get in touch with us. We look forward to hearing from you!
Yours truly
Marco and Joy
